ABOUT PROJECT
The Chikuho Action Project is an organization based in the Chikuho region of Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, that aims to revitalize the area through film production. Led by film director Kenta Nagayoshi, the project specializes in action scene filming for movies, TV programs, commercials, and social media content, featuring real explosions, car chases, and gunfights instead of CGI.
The project utilizes abandoned coal mine sites, ruins, and quiet shopping streets in the Chikuho area as locations for filming. It also organizes interactive action experience events where participants can take part in scenes such as gunfights at train stations, explosive car chases, and shootouts inside trains.
Additionally, the project offers custom video production services, including wedding opening videos and original action movies featuring friends and family. Through these activities, the Chikuho Action Project helps create new tourism opportunities and improves the region’s image.
